Your privacy matters. This policy explains what BJJ Tracker collects, how it is used, and your choices.
Information We Collect
Training data you enter — classes, belts, techniques, competitions, notes, and photos or videos you add. This is stored on your device, and synced to secure cloud storage (Google Firebase) if you sign in.
Account information — if you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email to create your account. Email/password accounts store your email address.
Purchase status — whether you have an active Pro subscription, managed via Google Play and RevenueCat. We never see your card details.
Optional permissions — notifications and location, only if you enable them, used to send training reminders. You can revoke these at any time in your device settings.
How We Use It
To run the app, save and sync your training history, provide Pro features, and send reminders you opt into. We do not sell your personal data. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers to profile you.
Service Providers
We rely on Google Firebase (authentication, database, file storage), Google Play (purchases), and RevenueCat (subscription management). These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms.
Data Retention & Deletion
Your data stays until you remove it. You can reset all data or delete your profile from Settings > Danger Zone at any time, which removes your local and synced data. You may also export a full copy from Settings > Backup & Restore.
Children
BJJ Tracker can be used by practitioners of all ages, including kids tracked by a parent. If your child uses the app, a parent or guardian should manage the account. We do not knowingly collect more data than needed to run the app.
Security
We use industry-standard measures provided by our service providers to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your own backups via Export.
Changes
We may update this policy as the app changes. We will revise the effective date above when we do.
