Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Block Craze ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use the App on iOS or Android. Block Craze is published by Box of Otters. By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.

Information We Collect

Block Craze does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address, or phone number. The App is free and supported by ads, so it uses third-party services that collect some information automatically from your device:

• Advertising. Ads are served through Unity LevelPlay (ironSource) mediation, which can show ads from Google AdMob, Unity Ads, and Pangle. To serve and measure ads, these networks may collect your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Google Advertising ID on Android) and other device identifiers, IP address and approximate location derived from it, device model and operating system, and information about the ads you see and tap.
• Ad attribution. The App includes the Meta (Facebook) SDK, which records app installs and basic in-app events, together with your advertising identifier where permitted, so we can measure the results of our own ads on Meta platforms.
• App usage statistics. Google Analytics for Firebase records events such as app opens, levels played, and purchases, along with device model, operating system, App version, approximate country, and an app instance identifier.
• Crash and error reports. Sentry receives reports when the App crashes or hits an error, including the error details, App version, device model, and operating system. These reports are set not to include personal information.

How Information Is Used

This information is used to show ads, including personalized (interest-based) ads where you allow it, to measure ad performance, to understand how the App is played so we can improve it, and to find and fix bugs. Advertising data may be used to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies, as described in each network's own policy.

Purchases

The App offers optional in-app purchases, such as a one-time "Remove Ads" purchase. Payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play); we never receive or store your payment card or financial details. To deliver and restore purchases, we use RevenueCat, which processes an anonymous app user identifier, transaction and receipt details, and which products you own. This is used only to unlock what you bought, not for advertising.

Game Progress and Virtual Items

Your game progress, coins, and power-ups are stored locally on your device. We do not store this on our own servers. Reinstalling the App or switching devices may reset locally stored progress.

We do not control the data practices of these third parties.

Your Choices

On iPhone and iPad, the App asks before tracking, and you can change this any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings > Google > Ads (or Settings > Privacy > Ads). Limiting tracking does not remove ads, but they may be less relevant. Buying "Remove Ads" stops ads from showing.

Children's Privacy

Block Craze is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can address it.

Data Retention

We do not store personal data on our own servers. Data collected by the third-party services above is retained according to their own policies.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
