This Privacy Policy describes how Block Craze ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use the App. Block Craze is published by Box of Otters. By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.
Information We Collect
Block Craze does not require you to create an account and does not ask you to provide personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number to play.
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. To serve and measure ads, AdMob and its partners may automatically collect certain information from your device, including:
- Device advertising identifier (such as the Identifier for Advertisers, IDFA) and other device-level identifiers
- Advertising data, such as information about the advertisements you have seen and interacted with
- Product interaction data, such as app launches, taps, and in-app activity
How Information Is Used
The information collected through AdMob is used to display advertising, including personalized (interest-based) advertising, to measure the performance of advertising, and to support the free version of the App. This data may be used for tracking purposes across apps and websites owned by other companies.
Purchases
The App offers an optional one-time "Remove Ads" purchase. Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store; we never receive or store your payment card or financial details. To deliver and restore your purchase, we use RevenueCat, which processes purchase-related information such as a non-personal app user identifier, your transaction and receipt details, and which products you own. This information is used only to verify entitlements (for example, whether ads should be removed) and to support the purchase. We do not use it for advertising or tracking.
Game Progress and Virtual Items
Your game progress, coins, and power-ups are stored locally on your device. We do not collect or store this information on our own servers, and it is not linked to your identity. Reinstalling the App or switching devices may reset locally stored progress.
Third-Party Services
Advertising in the App is provided by Google AdMob. Google's handling of data is governed by its own privacy policy and advertising terms, available at policies.google.com/privacy and policies.google.com/technologies/ads. Purchase processing is supported by RevenueCat, whose privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy, and by Apple through the App Store. We do not control the data practices of these third parties.
Your Choices
On Apple devices, you can control whether apps may request to track you and access your advertising identifier through Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. You may also reset or limit ad personalization in your device settings. Declining tracking does not stop ads from appearing, but may make them less relevant.
Children's Privacy
Block Craze is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can address it.
Data Retention
We do not store personal data on our own servers. Any data collected by third-party advertising partners is retained according to their respective policies.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
